An Open Letter to Akay Hoca from a Fellow Iğdır Resident
I have been reading your writings for a long time. I am not a fan. As I read your articles, I feel as if I am reading the true intentions of traitors who are bent on destroying this state.
I know your past like the back of my hand. I know about your DEV-GENÇ years, your prison years, and that in later years you not only sympathized with the Kurdish movement called ÖZGÜRLÜK YOLU (Freedom Road) but also took on professional roles within it.
As someone who has been in close contact with left-wing and Kurdish groups whose aim has been to destroy the Republic of Türkiye for years, I see that you have not abandoned these characteristics. In Iğdır, wherever there is injustice or a fraudulent tender, you are at the forefront of the team that exposes them. You put the troubles of those who are victimized in hospitals and government offices into writing, darkening our spirits. It is certain that you are a menace to Iğdır with your boundless courage and your boundless ability to demand accountability. Even the high authorities of the state cannot cope with you.
Even the esteemed Governor is fed up with you! He doesn't invite you to the book fair. Recently, he invited journalists, but you were not among them. Good for him! Our esteemed Governor rightly keeps you at a distance and strives to do the opposite of what you suggest.
Frankly, I don't understand you. Sometimes you find municipal services inadequate, and you immediately announce the mistakes and shortcomings to the public. Let the state continue to provide services as it wishes through its own institutions. Look how nicely those with power and political references in all official institutions complete their work quickly and leave with peace of mind. And you have fallen into chasing after the troubles of the average and poor citizen! Is it up to you if their affairs in the state go wrong!
While we have a magnificent Governor and the institutions affiliated with him are doing their jobs perfectly by taking orders from a party, why are you putting a spoke in this perfectly running wheel? This has turned into a disease and an incurable habit for you.
As a fellow resident of Iğdır, I warn you: obey the esteemed Governor and the ruling party unconditionally. You will see how well your affairs will go, your newspaper will be flooded with advertisements, and your pocket will be full of money.
Sometimes I see you walking on the street. A feeling of pity comes over me, but at the same time, I see you as someone who has been trying to put a spoke in the wheel that has been established and running smoothly in Iğdır for years. The Left and Leftism are in the past. Their fashion has passed. Now is the era of Communities. Join a community. With your knowledge and experience, you will rise quickly. Even the esteemed Governor will bow before you. But you insist on saying that you cannot abandon human principles, you cannot abandon your stance, you cannot abandon Atatürk's principles, and that you are always on the side of your people, and you carry these statements to the newspaper column.
Your newspaper's name is Iğdır'a Bakış (A Look at Iğdır), but you don't see the real Iğdır. What goes on in the back rooms... Anyway, let me not get myself into trouble by informing you about such sensitive issues. I hope that from now on you will write more "understanding" articles and join our group.
Though it doesn't come from my heart, I send my regards.
